When you are investing in your health and well-being, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best choice for your Bay Shore alcohol and drug dependence treatment clinic. While the most prudent thing to do may still be to call our hotline advisors so they can discuss your personal needs, reading the ratings and reviews on some of the addiction rehabilitation programs in or around your area is another great way to begin.

I know it's different for everyone who has to go to rehab. I struggled a lot during my program though. It was really hard for me and I only was able to stick with it and actually do the program was because of the staff there. The help I received at GLR was amazing though. They were very throughout and made sure I did the program right. It's why I'm still clean today. They staff there are well trained and just as importantly, they are committed to helping people. There were a lot of times during my program when I wanted to give up and it's only because of the staff there that I didn't. They have different programs available so everyone does a program that benefits them. It's not a 30 day program or a 6 month program. You're there for however long you need to be whether that's one month or 9. They have yoga classes, art therapy and music therapy which helped me a lot during my program. While all of the staff there are well trained and dedicated they could use more staff.
Sacred heart has many good qualities. However do to them treating both men and women...so if your in a relationship with an addict you may or may not have a relationship when they come out.
The Dr. was nice. Not much to do on down time. It is much better than many places in our area. The stay is too short, 8 day average.
