When you are putting money into a family member’s health and well-being, you should make sure you’re making the best possible choice for your Bridgeport drug and alcohol addiction rehabilitation clinic. While the most prudent course of action may still be to speak to our helpline experts so they can discuss your personal needs, reading how people are reviewing or rating some of the addiction treatment facilities in your area is another good place to begin.

Personnel were very caring and attentive. Small and need more group field trips other than laundry. I thought it was a great experience. The simplicity of it made me focus mainly on myself which was the major issue. I have recommended it to a few people seeking help.
I know it's different for everyone who has to go to rehab. I struggled a lot during my program though. It was really hard for me and I only was able to stick with it and actually do the program was because of the staff there. The help I received at GLR was amazing though. They were very throughout and made sure I did the program right. It's why I'm still clean today. They staff there are well trained and just as importantly, they are committed to helping people. There were a lot of times during my program when I wanted to give up and it's only because of the staff there that I didn't. They have different programs available so everyone does a program that benefits them. It's not a 30 day program or a 6 month program. You're there for however long you need to be whether that's one month or 9. They have yoga classes, art therapy and music therapy which helped me a lot during my program. While all of the staff there are well trained and dedicated they could use more staff.
Serenity Point Recovery has helped me in more ways than one. When I arrived here, I thought it would be just for drug and alcohol abuse. After attending Relationships class and multiple sessions with my counselor, I realized I had a tendency to be codependent, which helped lead me to the drug and alcohol abuse. I have learned to identify that behavior and ways to grow and overcome it. I have also learned how to have the tough conversations with people at home that I needed to have. I have created an aftercare plan that I believe will be effective, as well as a relapse prevention plan. This program breaks down the behavior of addiction and shows you how to identify these behaviors. It also helps you develop the tools needed to cope in healthy ways. I strongly feel that Serenity Point Recovery has saved my life in this way, and I look forward to applying the tools I have learned here.
