If you’re putting money toward your health and happiness, you’ll want to make sure you’re making the right decision for your Briny Breezes drug and alcohol addiction recovery facility. While the smartest thing to do may still be to call our helpline advisors so they can discuss your specific needs, seeing how people are reviewing or rating some of the addiction rehabilitation programs near you is another great way to start.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Recovery First has a very well trained and diverse therapists on top of the amazing techs who offer great words of wisdom since a majority are in recovery themselves. They also offer a since of freedom with options that include going to the gym, doing yoga, mediation, going to the rec room (ping pong, air hockey, a relaxing serenity chair, and the wii), going to church, and/or art therapy. Once you transition into the PHP phase, the techs take you out to actuall AA and NA meetings where you listen to other people's stories and can start looking for a sponsor. As you are getting close to your discharge date the staff is very involved with your next phase of treatment and genuinely care about the client's well being. Alex is great at running the alumni meetings and encourages all alumni's attendance if they are staying near by and also geniuly cares about everyone's recovery. Expectations between the girls, men's, and residential houses vary. There is a lapse of communication and no clear structure amongst the higher ups. It was an overall great experience and would recommend Recovery First to anyone who seeks to better themselves.
They took such good care of my son. The counselors and case managers were competent and professional, but were still able to connect with him. The best part was that he seemed to be having so much fun again. We have our son back! The life and recovery skills taught at this facility should be available to anyone regardless of addiction. My son went a boy and came home a man. The biggest weakness was that when it came time to leave, he wanted to stay. They were good about explaining the process though and he has done very well since.
Lake view changed me I love the place the people are very friendly they come up to you and talk to I loved my stay their.
