If you are putting money toward a family member’s health and well-being, you want to make sure you’re making the right choice for your Chilhowee alcohol and substance abuse rehabilitation facility. While the best option may still be to talk to our helpline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, looking at how others have reviewed or rated some of the addiction treatment facilities near you is another good way to start.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
This is hands down, thE best treatment center in St. Louis! The staff treats you like a person, not a "patient". They are respectful, passionate and it is obvious they genuinely care about their clients. I love that they don't have some cookie cutter program—everything is personalized and they are awesome at explaining the science behind addiction and recovery. They even offer genetic analysis to help determine which medication your body will respond to best. This report could have saved me from years of switching medications around trying to treat depression and anxiety. I had no clue this simple blood test existed until I came here. Fingers crossed, I will never have to go through the process of getting sober again—but I find comfort in knowing MIA exists!
Sana Lake has been incredible. You know, most places you got to keep you there for like a week or two, and then send you off on your way with a list of meetings to go to. Sana Lake was SOOO much different. After you go to inpatient they hook you up with the outpatient services and there is a group every week for people who have gone to Sana Lake, it's called members for life, and they go do fun stuff and have meetings. So many people call you, and check on you, and legit care about how you're doing. I love Sana Lake, and I would 100% recommend anyone looking to do this thing, go there. If you want some cheap state run program, you're going to get what you pay for.
