When you are putting money into your health, your future and your family’s wellbeing, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the right decision for your Cocoa alcohol and substance abuse rehab clinic. While the best option may still be to speak to our helpline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, seeing how people are reviewing or rating some of the addiction recovery centers in your area is another good place to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Staff is great, kind, and very supportive. Good food, excursions, wonderful behavioral techs, nurses, and therapists. Also, very tidy! Oh, and they clean and fold your laundry. Can’t leave that out.
All the therapists here are amazing. I definitely recommend 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Hoping the staff sees this...... My name is Grace T and I am 20 years old. I was 19 when I decided to go to river oaks November of 2022. I was struggling for years with prescription and street pills which ruined the bright and happy kid I was while hurting everyone around me. I am so lucky to have been able to turn around my life. I am 5 months sober and off pills today. I have been sober since the day I walked into river oaks. You guys saved my life. The facility was good and they fed us well, but most of all...... the staff was there for me and cares about everyone there. Being the second youngest person in the whole facility, I was scared. They took extra good care of me and made sure i was comfortable. I got to play tennis with a great friend I met here, and played every day. Having been a national tennis player, the ability to play tennis every day really brought me back and because of that, I am now a tennis coach for underprivileged children in brooklyn. I was also able to attend a buddhist meditation recovery group every night that a resident would run called "dharma" Talking and understanding all addicts of all ages and backgrounds is an amazing experience because you all understand one another. I am happier than I have been since I can remember in my life. I am a motivated, productive and caring person of society. I have a great job, I just closed in my first apartment, I have amazing friends and family around me, and me and my girlfriend are amazing. Drugs are not worth it and i would never trade how I feel now for drugs. I will never forget the day i left......a TA I talked to a lot with told me to never come back here.... & to be that 1 percent of addicts that stay sober....and I am so proud and lucky that I am. I learned never to listen to the "1%" success rate. I realized that I needed to take it day by day and know that my life without drugs is a life with family, love, happiness, strength and so much more....a life with drugs is a life without those things. Once again i would like to say from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You guys played a big part in saving my life. I am blessed and i will never forget this place.
