When you are investing in your health and your future, you should make sure you’re choosing the right option for your Douglaston drug and alcohol addiction recovery clinic. While the smartest choice may still be to call our helpline experts so they can discuss your personal needs, reading how others have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehab programs in your area is another good way to get started.

Notice the stark difference between the two reviews here. One is from a former resident. While the second is from a parent. I was a resident over 10 years ago. Parents get fed a story. Kids live it.
Seafield was a very positive experience for me. They were very fair in all their policies, and with many years for experience, knew how to deal with addiction. They have an amazing salad bar, and overall the food was lovingly prepared. The nurses were fantastic. Every time you went for your meds they made you feel very important. The morning group meeting was insightful, and my counselor was a pro. The rest of the day's lectures were focused on 12 Step recovery, and although sometimes felt a little pedantic, in hindsight they did exactly what they were supposed to do. I would highly recommend Seafiled to anyone dealing with addiction. Like any substance program, you only get what you put in.
Strengths: Modern, Clean, Service, Options, Interactive. Weaknesses: Expensive with limited financing options. My Aunt was able to go there because she had the means, but they should fit a lower income demographic into the program.
