If you are putting money into a family member’s health and well-being, you want to make sure you’re making the best possible choice for your Eden alcohol and drug abuse recovery facility. While the smartest option may still be to speak to our hotline advisors so they can discuss your personal requirements, checking out how others have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehab programs near you is another excellent place to get started.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
It's too soon to rate the treatment effectiveness for our young adult son, but we are grateful for this program and very happy with what we've seen so far. The counselors we met were caring and professional. The 3-day family session was very beneficial and we almost missed it. Our son's counselor who called to tell my husband about family week, did not give any detailed information or express how valuable or important it would be. Had it not been for our daughter strongly urging both of us to go, my husband would've missed it--and that would've been unfortunate. Even though I felt that our son's counselor could've been more assertive in his communication with us, our son liked his "laid back" approach as a counselor. The meals are Standard American Diet, but thankfully, they include a well-stocked salad bar. This program is based on the 12-steps, but only step 1 is required to complete the program. The required AA meetings may not be the best fit for everyone, but the overall program seems like it would be beneficial for anyone.
the treatment was great. the staff down right awsome. if there was a problem i had they did everything they could to help me resolve it. the facillity is up on a mountain. the structure of there program is set for the clients so they can adjust to the treatment they need an onsite doctor.
