When you are putting money into your health, your future and your family’s wellbeing, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best possible choice for your Flushing alcohol and substance abuse rehab center. While the smartest way to go may still be to dial our helpline experts so they can discuss your specific needs, reading the ratings and reviews on some of the addiction treatment facilities in your area is another good place to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Their website layout is good and easy to use. The specific care they dedicate to women is wonderful. I can't think of any weaknesses. It's a great facility. My sister admitted she had a problem not too long ago and Sacred Heart was recommended to us and we are so glad it was. They treated her with kindness and understanding. She came out with such a strong will to stay on the right track. We are so thankful for Sacred Heart.
Close to home, female only. In need of many things such as exercise activities, healing, one on one counseling etc. They teach you just how to live a normal daily routine while attending only one AA meeting a day, and if your lucky one NA meeting a month.
Amazing experience. This program literally saved my life. Upon arrival I can only imagine how difficult I must have been to work with as a client (I was a total wreck) and the staff was always respectful and courteous. I had no intention on really getting off drugs, I was like whatever we will see how it goes. But everyone was so understanding that I instantly felt a lot better than i have been for a very long time. Through a daily regiment of 1 on 1 therapy sessions and extensive time spent working with my case manager I was put in a position that enabled me to do an immense amount of personal growth. The clinical team was constantly pushing me to challenge myself in order to reach the goals that I set forth for myself upon admission. All the courses that were available at Serenity were extremely helpful, with all the knowledge that I gained from them grew my personality. Every program was amazing. I personally loved the smart recovery. I liked how it focuses on the key reasons we started to do drugs or alcohol. I feel like this was the big change, the big difference with Serenity vs my previous rehabs, that we actually were looking for the initial cause.
