When you are putting money toward your health, your future and your family’s happiness, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best decision for your Georgetown alcohol and drug abuse rehabilitation clinic. While the smartest way to go may still be to call our helpline advisors so they can discuss your personal requirements, reading how others are reviewing or rating some of the addiction rehab centers in or around you is another excellent way to get started.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Certain staff members treated me like family. They talked with me one on one when I was struggling, even if they were not my counselor. Even when I wanted to give up I was given repeated methods to stay strong and distract me from myself. There was one doctor in particular who I felt was a jerk; I did not like that he had to be the psychiatrist. Also did not like that I could not switch counselors. I didn't like my counselor as much as I liked counselors that were not mine and I feel like I should have gotten a say in who got to treat me one on one and to where I felt that I got the most help. I was deep deep in an eating disorder and this place saved me. Without it I would not be alive today. They made me realize I did have a problem and the only way to be truly happy was to help myself.
I didn't know what to expect. Actually, I expected it to be much more like the state-run facilities I had tried in the past. It far exceeded my expectations! It's a good treatment center full of people who really want to make a difference in the world. They care, first and foremost.
Strengths: Conuseling and Guidance. Weaknesses: too many people to get treatment. I was a good experience for people and helped get through bad times
