If you are putting money toward your health, your future and your family’s happiness, you need to make sure you’re choosing the right option for your Hartselle drug and alcohol abuse rehabilitation center. While the smartest way to go may still be to speak to our hotline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, seeing the reviews and ratings for some of the addiction recovery clinics in or around your area is another great way to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
It was Christian based, but there was not a lot of extra activities to do. My son received treatment there and they really care about the patient, family and their needs.
I cannot say enough good about this program. The heart that the staff had for me and other participants just cannot be described. Every possible resource, program or procedure that the Director deems beneficial for a woman changing her life and getting back on her feet and being restored to her children is researched and implemented. There are naysayers, of course. Usually they are those who have been dismissed or had a family member dismissed and are mad about it. Like many other shelters and programs, we suffered through the bed-bug epidemic years back and spent a LOT of money fixing it. So did many hotels. Get over it. I could talk about how there IS a phenomenal cook running our kitchen but I didn\'t even eat anything on drugs anyhow so enough said. I will tell you this - I was a 15+ year meth and opiate addict with drug trafficking charges and actually lost count with how many times I had been arrested. I have been clean a decade because of this place (2011) and have not relapsed once. Recovery is what you surrender to.
They helped me set up a team to see when I returned home, and checked in with me for a year. 1.5 years I had a relapse but I don't know if I'd consider it a full blown relapse. More of a few slip ups before finding my footing again. They offered me a reduced rate for the time that insurance refused me, it still was more than I can afford though.
