When you’re putting money toward a family member’s health, happiness and wellbeing, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the right choice for your Hopkinton drug and alcohol abuse treatment program. While the smartest option may still be to speak to our hotline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, checking out the reviews and ratings on some of the addiction recovery centers in or around you is another good place to get started.
I was told before booking my flight and planning for the trip that my insurance had been approved and I would be staying for 30 days, was told I’d spend approximately 2 to 3 days in detox. Got there and 3 days later was told my insurance wouldn’t pay for tje 30 days, only for 7 days in detox. Had to rebook my round trip ticket and was charged over $150 just for changing dates. Stayed in detox the entire time, which means I ate and slept for 7 days. Have called numerous times and apparently there is no one in charge of any of these facilities because they continue to transfer your calls to a recording that doesn’t have a directory. I have asked the 2 people I’ve spoken to, who I could speak to about being reimbursed the $918.00 out of pocket travel fees I incurred. Will not gift me a name or phone number to anyone in management or customer service. They lied to me and wasted my time, money and most of all the chance to turn my life around. You see, I’ve had this addiction for a long time and no one to help. I finally, stepped out in faith and asked for help and they failed me and show no concern for me at all. They only wanted money, money, money!!!! No concern for the individual. As for the staff at the recovery center, they were very kind and caring. As for Chris and John, if that’s truly their names, they are rude, uncaring and very unprofessional.
I can't thank the staff at Mayflower enough for helping our family through a tough time. My nephew was in a bad place when we found Mayflower and the time there began a journey for him that has him over 6 months sober and a completely new outlook on life. Thank you to those at Mayflower that took the time and energy to help him, and us, through a tough time. Forever grateful.
