When you are putting money into your health and happiness, you should make sure you’re choosing the right option for your Indialantic alcohol and drug abuse treatment center. While the most prudent alternative may still be to speak to our helpline experts so they can discuss your personal needs, reading the reviews and ratings on some of the addiction treatment programs in your area is another great way to get started.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Like to thank the doctor, very diligent and very serious about their job!
River Oaks is an excellent overall choice for treatment. The property is situated on a beautiful campus with a serene walking trail and plenty of green space to enjoy the gorgeous Tampa weather. The residential facilities are furnished with pillow top mattresses and only double room occupancy. You only share a room and bathroom with one other client. Each residence hall has several common areas with large screen TVs. Other amenities include a billiards room, concession area to purchase snacks, dining hall, well equipped gym, tennis courts, basketball courts and athletic field for baseball, kickball, etc. Don't worry about doing your own laundry--the housekeeping staff takes care of that for you so you can focus on your recovery. River Oaks therapists run a wide array of modalities of treatment: individual therapy, group therapies ranging from First Responders to LGBTQ+, wellness, and recreation therapy. Each therapist is professional, caring, and understands how to make the therapies not only relevant for overcoming addictive behavior put impart important life and character development skills that I have yet to receive anywhere else. You have an opportunity to participate in nightly AA, NA, or Dharma Recovery meetings to further connections to a recovery community. Case Management is top notch. My case manager navigated FMLA, Short Term Disability, and coordination of post care treatment. I did not have to worry about handling anything with insurance, work, family, etc. My case manager and therapist routinely kept everyone I needed informed on my progress and handled the mounds of paperwork that accompanied so I could focus on my treatment. One important thing to note---This is YOUR treatment. The staff are there to support you. That said, the team are not mind readers and an important part of treatment is learning how to appropriately access and ask for what you want/need. I found this harsh at first, but everyone wants to see you succeed. Through the treatment of River Oaks, I have effectively been empowered to take control of my life for the first time ever.
