Huntington Creek Recovery saved my daughter's life, in my opinion. She was down to 80 lbs and near death from multiple addictions, including iV heroin use, when she was driven down that 6 mile rural road in Shichshinny,, PA. Although we never gave up hope, she had. By the fourth day she called me. i was expecting 'pick me up', but instead, when i asked her how she was doing, she answered me "I feel great.. This place is amazing.' She even praised the food ....which helped her to reach a normal, healthy weight. She has not yet looked back, although i am not a Pollyanna and know the road to recovery is long and full of temptations. After 28 days, our daughter, restored to physical health and much improved emotionally , spiritually and in every way, went on to a sober living facility, where she continues her recovery.. i cannot thank God enough for this 12 step based program or for the dedication and inspiration she received from the clinical and technical staff. Mirmont Treatment Center
Mirmont is right on target with their comprehensive program for alcohol and drug addiction rehab programs. From detox, to inpatient care, to Intensive Outpatient Therapy; their facility exceeded my expectations. The counselors, clinical aides, nursing, and administrative staff really care about your treatment and steps toward getting well. Other than the regular group meetings, small group meetings, and AA/NA meetings, they incorporate accupuncture, yoga, chi gong, and other classes to teach one mindfulness in order to learn to control cravings, resentment, anger, etc. I highly recommend Mirmont for anyone who is truly ready to take the next step toward living a sober, healthy, and happy life!
