When you’re putting money toward your health, your future and your family’s wellbeing, you should make sure you’re making the best choice for your Lehi alcohol and drug addiction treatment center. While the best way to go may still be to dial our helpline experts so they can discuss your personal needs, looking at how others are reviewing or rating some of the addiction recovery facilities in or around your area is another great place to get started.
The counselors are great and knowledgeable. The facility is beautiful and well equipped. The meals were excellent. My son had great experiences in the outside activities. Most importantly, Turning Point dealt with his mental health issues that were causing the substance abuse problems. I thought every member of the staff really cared about him and his recovery. I wish I could give some critique of a weakness in Turning Point but there is nothing that we encountered that would give me any reason to not recommend this facility. Our main reason for choosing Turning Point was that it was not 12-step.. My understanding as I did my research was that with most stays at a 12-step facility, the client does not get through the 12 steps and is usually required to continue on somewhere learning how to implement those steps to recovery. I liked the program at Turning Point that combined his mental health issues with the substance abuse. I also thought my sons counselors were very qualified and we had great family sessions which were a big part of our concern about him. I also wanted him to have plenty of one on one time with his counselor. He received 3 sessions a week.
My son stayed here for drug addiction treatment for approximately six weeks in 2015. I have nothing but praise and gratefulness for the people at this center. The counselors and staff were so down to earth yet very in tune to the needs of the people there. I felt like they did a good job providing an environment to keep my son safe to open up and face his own challenges yet did not \"suffocate\" him with rules and regulations. I visited him while he was there and the house is truly as nice as what you see in the pictures and they welcomed me to join the family discussion group. I was pleased that they were very willing to communicate with me while he was there. He is still doing well, is working full time 7 months after leaving and looking towards the future. They did bill my ins co. quite a bit but that\'s because the ins excludes nearly half of the charges. They have to get paid and have a right to bill just like any medical or treatment facility would. I know it will always be a lifelong process for him but I truly believe these people saved my son\'s life. He still uses some of the techniques they taught him. I highly recommend this center.
