When you are investing in your health and well-being, you need to make sure you’re making the best possible choice for your Lewisville alcohol and substance abuse rehab center. While the most prudent way to go may still be to talk to our helpline advisors so they can discuss your individual requirements, checking out how others have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehabilitation facilities in or around you is another good way to start.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
i really liked the gref and recovery esp. when it came to the millatry aspt. of my recovery. The program is active and growing, many staff members are personally in recovery and add a valuable dimension of understanding. Its a very big house and some days it takes a few minutes to find someone you are looking for.
It's too soon to rate the treatment effectiveness for our young adult son, but we are grateful for this program and very happy with what we've seen so far. The counselors we met were caring and professional. The 3-day family session was very beneficial and we almost missed it. Our son's counselor who called to tell my husband about family week, did not give any detailed information or express how valuable or important it would be. Had it not been for our daughter strongly urging both of us to go, my husband would've missed it--and that would've been unfortunate. Even though I felt that our son's counselor could've been more assertive in his communication with us, our son liked his "laid back" approach as a counselor. The meals are Standard American Diet, but thankfully, they include a well-stocked salad bar. This program is based on the 12-steps, but only step 1 is required to complete the program. The required AA meetings may not be the best fit for everyone, but the overall program seems like it would be beneficial for anyone.
Extremely caring and complete care. Hospital care if needed, psychaistrist (sp) therapists, RNs, very able to help.
