When you’re investing in your health and your future, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best decision for your Lowell alcohol and drug abuse rehabilitation center. While the best alternative may still be to call our helpline advisors so they can discuss your personal requirements, looking at the ratings and reviews for some of the addiction treatment facilities in or around your area is another great way to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
To qualify let’s just say I’ve been to 80+ detoxes, 8 halfway house, countless sober houses, and 9 section 35s, prison, etc. So for a person like me walking into this 5 star facility I thought someone must have messed up and sent me to the wrong place. But once I got in, I soon realized this was the best place I have ever had the pleasure of being welcomed into. Everyone from the RSs, the team of counselors, the nurses, you can tell they are not just there for a paycheck, these people genuinely want to help and see you do well. I’ve been out for a few days now and got back on my vivitrol shot. THANK YOU RCA DANVERS FOR EVERYTHING!
This facility is beautiful! It is separated with Detox (Co-ed) and Residential (Gender separate) Units. Each bedroom has 2 queen size beds and each side has a television. You only have one roommate. The food is excellent! The chef really takes pride in his work and puts out nutritious great tasting meals. You get "Fresh air breaks" where you can smoke about 8-9 times per day. They offer yoga & art therapy along with primary process groups. You are allowed to use your cell phone once a week, in front of your case manager, for a half hour to check bills, emails and such. I would recommend this facility above any other in Massachusetts.
Forever grateful. Just celebrated 1 year of sobriety. Was in Banyon Massachucetts last april to May. I was in detox, and residential, I believe I entered treatment a very physically emotionially sick person, and was brought back to life there. The food was amazing, the therapists and groups amazing, accomadations amazing. I went to treatment at 60 years old and for the first time in my life after many attempts have 1 year sober, if anyone reads this and is struggling hope this helps you thankyou to everyone at banyon and also the alumnae group.
