If you are putting money toward your health, your future and your family’s wellbeing, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best possible choice for your Lum alcohol and substance abuse recovery clinic. While the smartest alternative may still be to dial our helpline experts so they can discuss your personal needs, checking out the reviews and ratings for some of the addiction rehab centers in or around your area is another excellent way to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Their website layout is good and easy to use. The specific care they dedicate to women is wonderful. I can't think of any weaknesses. It's a great facility. My sister admitted she had a problem not too long ago and Sacred Heart was recommended to us and we are so glad it was. They treated her with kindness and understanding. She came out with such a strong will to stay on the right track. We are so thankful for Sacred Heart.
I know it's different for everyone who has to go to rehab. I struggled a lot during my program though. It was really hard for me and I only was able to stick with it and actually do the program was because of the staff there. The help I received at GLR was amazing though. They were very throughout and made sure I did the program right. It's why I'm still clean today. They staff there are well trained and just as importantly, they are committed to helping people. There were a lot of times during my program when I wanted to give up and it's only because of the staff there that I didn't. They have different programs available so everyone does a program that benefits them. It's not a 30 day program or a 6 month program. You're there for however long you need to be whether that's one month or 9. They have yoga classes, art therapy and music therapy which helped me a lot during my program. While all of the staff there are well trained and dedicated they could use more staff.
I must admit, starting out is hard work but it absolutely gets better with a little time. It does get easier. The staff is very caring and have helped me in many ways with any questions or concerns that I have had. Variety of programs...I attended Native American 12 step and it has helped me. Peace was all I wanted and peace is what I got. Sure, there are some kinks they need to work out but they have only been open for a few months at this point. One thing, the bunk beds need to go. We need as much comfort as possible in such a vulnerable state.
