When you are putting money toward a family member’s health and happiness, you’ll want to make sure you’re making the right choice for your Metcalf alcohol and substance abuse treatment program. While the best thing to do may still be to speak to our helpline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, checking out how other are reviewing or rating some of the addiction recovery clinics in or around your area is another good way to get started.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
This program is called Teen Challenge, but is not just for teens. It's for all ages and a wide variety of issues. Being in and out of other facilities, I have to say that this one must have something special, because my "person" came out clean and on the right track. He has not once been in trouble again or struggled with an addiction since. He has excelled in everything life has to offer him now and even offers help to others in need. It's faith based and opportunities to work you back into the community slowly and effectively.
Family oriented. Miscommunication. Excellent program for individual that is serious about getting help,
Bethesda being a spiritual program based on biblical principles, while also incorporating other recovery steps, caught my attention. Also, the constant contact with the director, building a "trusting" relationship before my arrival, helped my final decision. My experience was not an easy one to say the least but extremely effective at Bethesda Recovery. I gained a true identity, not per say an "addict" in recovery. I was and still being restored to hopes, dreams, family and friends. Learning about Jesus Christ, and the Twelve Gates( part of this program) I found life and a future. I continue to live drug/alcohol free, and still very much affiliated with Bethesda Recovery. I strive to give back as much as they have given me. A new life.
