When you’re putting money into a family member’s health and well-being, you should make sure you’re making the best choice for your Mount Vernon drug and alcohol addiction rehab center. While the smartest alternative may still be to dial our hotline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, looking at how people have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehabilitation centers in or around your area is another great place to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
It is a Christian discipleship for chemically addicted men between 28 - 55 years of age with opportunities for others on a case by case basis. This first 6-8 weeks period of time is referred to as "Orientation". The contact to the outside world is limited to only the mail. This is to reduce distractions and allow the participate to focus on working their program with the goal being to learn coping skills and achieve balance in your life. The next phase your encouraged to have family come to visit on Sundays. When your not in group or individual counseling sessions during the week days, you also worked four hours per day in the skill area of your choice including woodworking , or the auto repair shop, computer repair and many more. The program saved my life. I recommend the Potter's House to any man that needs help. Strengths: Effectiveness, Restorative, Christianity. Weaknesses: Work facilities need some updating.
I will forever be thankful for the time I spent at Blue Ridge!! I love the staff and most of the are in recovery so they can relate! There was always some one on staff to talk to. They truly care about recovery. I left with an education on addiction and recovery. But more importantly I found who I wanted to be and I had the tools to become that person! Thank you BRMRC for helping me begin my new life!
Project ADAM gave me an opportunity to work thru my struggles. My journey was tough, accountability even tougher. Im grateful for choosing Project ADAM. Richard
