When you are investing in a family member’s health, future and happiness, you should make sure you’re choosing the right option for your Mount Washington substance abuse rehab clinic. While the best way to go may still be to call our hotline advisors so they can discuss your specific requirements, looking at how people have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehabilitation facilities in or around your area is another good place to get started.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Glenbeigh served my family and I well. Every place has deficiencies whether in cost or amenities, but the value of the facility lies in the providers and staff it employs. This is where Glenbeigh shines. There are of course bad apples in every batch. A few individuals in "the back to work assessment" area were found to be at a minimum unhappy in their interactions with patients. This is a small aspect. The bottom line is that the evaluation of a facility in terms of treatment effectiveness by an alumni is truly subjectively based upon their willingness to accept treatment. I found it to the place I needed to be. Id refer, and have referred.
It was absolutely worth the cost; the counselors were very to the point and made me look at my part in all the resentment I had.
There was a lot of "busy wok" meaning worksheets and groups were lead always by a counselor. It wasn't individual based, it was group-based. Individual counseling always had paperwork--it was more like information gathering and the purpose for the information was unclear to me. I didn't feel connected to any of the counselors---I didn't feel like it was personal at all--they never knew me. I was just an addict.
