When you’re putting money toward a family member’s health, future and happiness, you need to make sure you’re making the best possible decision for your Norristown substance abuse rehab program. While the best thing to do may still be to talk to our helpline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, seeing the reviews and ratings for some of the addiction rehabilitation facilities in or around you is another good way to get started.

I was a client at avenues for 6 months. I found it to be professionally run by caring people. Right now I have 1 year clean with more to go.my counselor was crummy but all the others were good, don't worry he has since left.the living arrangements were fine and the food they provided was sufficient. You cooked for yourself. When the young guys cooked you got hot dogs and burgers .when the older ones cooked you ate salmon, pork shoulders, pork chops etc. It was hit or miss but never bad. Plus you could make what you wanted. The patient techs were good and helpful. One in particular pat would literally go to the ends of the earth to help you. Gotta love the guys genuiness and caring demeanor. The housing manager devin was really good also. Sadly I've been in quite a few rehabs and I would rate avenues an 8 out of 10. I would recommend it to family and friends. I learned alot there which helps me now.you can only get better coming here. Jamie lorber
They taught a lot about addiction and how to maintain sobriety and also were very skilled in helping to deal with other issues such as with myself and the anxiety disorder I've had for years and ways to help with my anxiety. The therapists were always available to talk when needed and they always kept everyone busy with different activities and group therapy to help focus on everyones treatment. They did not let family come; it was very restricted as well as phone calls were limited and we had to use a pay phone to call family and friends which cost out of pocket. The food also was not the greatest
