Amy my therapist was great. She talked with my attorneys and offered to do family therapy with my husband, and we did EMDR therapy which was really good. It helped me remember things that I couldn't remember before. She was always available for me. Leah and Kathy the nurses remembered all my meds and were always friendly and nice to me. They have a really hard job. TA Brianna and Rachel were very helpful. Some instructors were better than others but over all I learned about coping skills, depression, and anxiety. I learned I have a lot that I didn't even realize. I learned a lot of tools for success outside of here. I got to be a Big Sister and I really enjoyed that because I got to welcome people and help get them off on the right foot. I learned a lot about traumatic experiences and codependent and unhealthy relationships. I learned that my ex-husband is a narcissist. I also learned how to set boundaries. This was a time I was able to take to reflect on myself. What I gained was being able to look inside and figure myself out while learning about my triggers and how to have healthy relationships.
Staff is great, kind, and very supportive. Good food, excursions, wonderful behavioral techs, nurses, and therapists. Also, very tidy! Oh, and they clean and fold your laundry. Can’t leave that out.
