When you are investing in a family member’s health and well-being, you’ll want to make sure you’re making the best choice for your Portland alcohol and substance abuse treatment program. While the most prudent option may still be to talk to our helpline experts so they can discuss your specific requirements, checking out how other are reviewing or rating some of the addiction recovery programs near you is another excellent way to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
I relapsed a third time and when I went in to this facility the second time I had a withdrawal seizure. The third time I relapsed, they would not take me back because they didn't have the proper medication to be detoxed. I had to go detox somewhere else. I ended up going to a place called Pyramid. It was horrible and never want to go back. They said I could come back and go inpatient once I was detoxed, however I thought that was the whole purpose of going inpatient. The way we were treated at Pyramid, I would not go through their inpatient program. I know you never say never, but I am plugging away very hard at my recovery this time. I got a sponsor right away, and we are now working on the steps. Which I actually wrote out the first step during a meeting and my sponsor was very proud of me!! I do know AA quite well from going in and out of the program. I never went inpatient. I do six meetings a week. I feel so good going back to the meetings. I am just having a hard time coping and balancing home life with my recovery. With that being said I would definitely recommend Greenbriar in Washington, PA.
Both the med' Staff and the Counselors are first rate. They don't get any better, they save lives here!
Great place to go if you are serious about getting sober. Entire staff is not only involved they care about you. Highly recommend EMEC. They helped me understand what I had to do in recovery. This place saved my soul, can't thank them enough.
