Teen Challenge - Middle Georgia's Men's Center
If you want help Help can be found here. You get out what you put into anything. Teen Challenge has changed my life and the lives of many of my friends. The center in Dublin has a great team of people who serve and care for the students there and work with the families to overcome what addiction has done to them. Students do learn some useful skills that will help them after the program. They have devotions and morning chapel M-F with Classes and bible study in the evening. they also work with local Detox, mental health, and other community services providing complete and balanced care. Dealing with addiction is messy and these people aren't afraid to get messy to see you or your loved ones get clean and free.
Northeast Georgia Health System - Laurelwood
I was brought to Laurelwood after being diagnosed with schizophrenia. Individual care was lacking and one employee was provoking and combative. The nurses were distant but nice. I was admitted around 5 times for a week at a time over a summer. I should have not been released while still dealing with my delusions that were causing me to attempt suicide.

But after being at NLB for a short while, you start to see the changes that are taking place in other people’s lives and then you want that for yourself more than anything. NLB guided me through the process of finding myself and then gave me the opportunity to grow and live life with purpose! Highly recommended!
