When you are putting money toward a family member’s health and happiness, you need to make sure you’re choosing the right option for your San Luis drug and alcohol abuse recovery program. While the most prudent choice may still be to talk to our hotline experts so they can discuss your specific needs, reading how people have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehab facilities in your area is another good place to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Definitely great at combining 12-step and holistic treatments, it's not an all or nothing approach, and each person is treated uniquely. It's also a pretty affordable facility as well. It's a nice environment in general, but some of the furnishings are a bit dated. This was my 3rd attempt at treatment, and it was way different than the first 2 places I went. From the first day I was treated as a unique individual and was introduced to new recovery approaches in a way that seemed very inviting. They also went beyond just treatment and helped me focus on life issues that were causing me problems too!
My husband is a graduate of the Life Transformation Recovery program. I am forever grateful for LTR for providing a second chance for him. He was able to overcome his addition, work through and heal his hurts and pains, and strengthen his relationship with Jesus Christ. We have a very healthy, open and honest marriage. Thank you LTR for your support and care for my husband, I wouldn\'t have met him without you!
I sent my 19 son the The Meadows. He went screaming and kicking with depression and mania episodes . I had tried everything else, years of therapy, Psychiatrists and different treatments. When I arrived for family week, my son met with with open arms and said “ thank you mom. This is the best thing you’ve ever done for me.” The Meadows had properly diagnosed him and medicated him. Yes, it was very expensive (especially for a single mother) but I thank them everyday. My son is now 25. He has taken full responsibility for his mental health since leaving The Meadows. He is a successful professional and speaks highly of his experience there. It literally saved his life and our family. Thank you to the amazing staff who helped him and helped me as well.
