If you’re putting money toward your health and happiness, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best decision for your Sandestin alcohol and drug addiction treatment center. While the smartest course of action may still be to speak to our hotline experts so they can discuss your individual requirements, reading how others have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehabilitation facilities in your area is another good place to start.
I came into treatment here with an attitude fueled by rage and isolation. I am currently 30 days into treatment and have already turned pages about my perspective on life and learned many issues I have deep down about myself that I didn't even realize I was repressing all this time. This is the first time, in a long time, that I have motivation and determination to accept where I am in life and change it for the better from here on out. Thank you First Step.
Everyone was super kind. I was very secluded where I was and I'm fighting to get my son back. I met really good people here, and the staff was excellent. I really came out of my shell and felt more comfortable. There is a good support group here, all the women were very welcoming. All the therapists bring something different to the table. I was able to express myself in a very positive way. I taught myself coping skills from books and videos and speakers so it was nice to have more information. Mattie was very helpful, she got me clothes so I could feel comfortable when I was borrowing people's clothes because I didnt have any. There were lots of games and out door sports to play. The food is food but over all its been a very good experience. I'm grateful to have a roof over my head, a warm shower, food in my belly, clothes on my back, and a great support group.
