When you’re investing in your health, your future and your family’s happiness, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best possible choice for your South Daytona drug and alcohol abuse treatment clinic. While the smartest choice may still be to dial our helpline experts so they can discuss your individual requirements, seeing the ratings and reviews on some of the addiction recovery centers near you is another excellent place to begin.

I went to this recovery program and its the best Ive been too! They have very caring and loving staff and people who will go out of there way to make sure all your needs are met. It felt like a vacation coming from New York, good weather, pool/gym!
This about Alumni Coordinator ANGEL CRUZ. This amazing person has become what I’d like to call family! During treatment when I saw him he greeted me like a brother. He truly wants to see me succeed and he is always there for me. Thank you Angel!!
First off if you don't feel like reading this just at least know that this is a great review of Lakeview. Just a brief history of myself, I come from a good family but had experienced trauma in my youth. I never felt "normal". Once I started trying drugs at 13, I was hooked. It made me feel like I could function. I continued to use and got into harder and harder drugs. I was always able to keep a good job and pay my bills until about the 6th year of my heroin use. I spiraled out of control and came to a point where I was just waiting for death. It was on one of these days that I thought would be my last that I had this urge to google treatment centers, I still to this day couldn't tell you why this happened, I think it was a true miracle. Lakeview was the first place that I saw listed. I called them and told them the severity of the situation. After a brief amount of questions, they said they would call back in 5 minutes, they did and they had a plane ticket for the next day. Gosh, I can't help but tear up as I write this. I was very impressed with the medically assisted detox. I think it took me 6 or 7 days, then another few days to come out of the thick fog. During that time there was a great schedule to get me into a healthy routine. The counseling was really beneficial. I had never done it before and since it worked so well for me I continued to do it long after leaving, and still do on occasion. The rooms were great and I was very comfortable. The food was good, a lot of comfort food, which is really what I needed. I chose to take the holistic track and loved it. It was perfect for me because I do well with meditation and mindfulness. Going to outside meetings really started my foundation into the 12 steps. I really liked the way I was phased up and regular meetings with the psychiatrist and doctors. I left Lakeveiw after 54 days, on January 13th, 2015. My life has been all about recovery ever since. I had a relapse after 10 months but got myself right back up and knew what I had to do. That was December 14th, 2015. I've been free from active addiction ever since. There is so much work that goes into my recovery but it's worth it. I have 2 children who have there father. I have a family who has their son, brother, cousin, and uncle back. Just to get a glimpse of what my life is like today, I'm chair and secretary for a Friday night 12 step group, I hold a position in 12 step Area service, I'm a board member of Great Bear Recovery Collective a group dedicated to building a recovery community, I'm a certified recovery coach for NCADD, I'm a peer support for the re-entry coalition which helps people coming out of incarceration who have substance use disorder, I'm a licensed chemical dependency counselor technician and working toward becoming a chemical dependency counselor. Life is still really hard and I have to fight this disease daily but it's all worth it because there are moments that are so good, I have hope today and I'm happy. I thank whatever is out there than is bigger than me for helping me along the way and of course thank you to Lakeview and it's staff. You are always bettering your practices and I'll be trying to bring those to my community to save more lives.
