When you are putting money toward a family member’s health, happiness and wellbeing, you’ll want to make sure you’re choosing the right option for your Tonalea alcohol and substance abuse rehabilitation center. While the most prudent thing to do may still be to speak to our helpline advisors so they can discuss your specific needs, looking at how others are reviewing or rating some of the addiction recovery programs in or around you is another excellent place to get started.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
I went to the Meadows in 1977 and it saved my life. At the time to save costs it offered non of the amenities it offers now but was strongly influenced by the 12 steps of AA. You were required to complete the first three steps which are the most difficult and stressed the importance of meetings individual and group counseling . and we had no free time to swim , horseback ride but we learned all about the disease of addiction. Most loving and professional group of people I had ever met. All were in recovery and had Masters in Addiction Counseling. One of the things I was impressed with the most was that there was no repeaters as the thinking was that it made recovery.more difficult. Hard to make money on that model. Almost 40 years later the promises are alive for me and my Meadows alumni husband. Thank My Higher power as I do not understand it for this place and all the people I met there it works if you work it is the truth
This rehab was a good starting off point for me to get sober and kick me in the butt a little. But I feel my real recovery journey did start until I left here and really started to do participate in AA.
I personally went through silver sands recovery and I can say they have a wonderful staff and a awesome atmosphere both in the center and the houses, this place saved my life and I'm forever grateful.
