If you’re putting money toward a family member’s health, future and happiness, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the right decision for your Wailea alcohol and drug addiction recovery program. While the smartest course of action may still be to dial our hotline experts so they can discuss your personal requirements, reading the reviews and ratings for some of the addiction recovery facilities in or around you is another excellent place to begin.
IT Has already racked up a grateful network of alumni families that speaks to its quality. For teens, this is a solid package: clinical expertise, holistic experiential therapies, 12-step support, and family healing, as well as a launch pad into a sober learning community.
Helping residents at Habilitat prepare for their high school equivalency diploma has given me some gratifying insights I didn’t expect. Undoubtedly this is a clear indication of how genuine and well-conceived the organizations’ structure and operating plan is. The three qualities I saw immediately in the residents are: 1.) They were completely accepting of one another with no signs of labelling or judgement. There are no cliques or classes, just brothers and sisters. 2.) The residents simply refuse to quit on this chosen path to their recuperation. Regardless of their previous backgrounds or their current stage in recovery, their commitment to regaining their lives is clearly evident. 3.) They also understand that accountability is central to their success. There is no talk of the past or distribution of blame; they simply choose to press on. These are qualities that will contribute to society. These are also changes that must be developed by living them over an extended period of time. The basis of this recovery process is not built on medical research or psychiatric theory but on the life experience of the founder. And from what I see in the classroom, the most certain truth is experience. It is my privilege to work with these incredible students, within this well envisioned, sincere organization.
Beautiful, serene property and cozy home. Every meal is made to order, with love and is so amazing. The staff are the most committed, loving, kind, people who are doing what they were born for. The owners are so creative with meeting every person idividuals needs. Truly an amazing place to heal. Sometimes the cows moo really loud. I was court ordered for 90 days. I was taking adderral and also had autoimmune issues. I was so sad and torn to leave my kids who were 12 and 14 at the time and getting there was half the battle. Smelling the Hawaiin air, seeing the beautiful home and property and being met with such kindness and compassion eased my anxiety. The days were filled with teaching, discovery, art, play, exercise, delicious meals, laughter, tears, rest and self care. They are teachers of life with a lot of experience. And they actually practice what they preach. Some days I was really angry or sad and it was all accepted. That's the part I was most blown away by. There's nothing I could say or do that would make them treat me differently. They love and accept and are compassionate and kind because that's what they choose to do and be. No matter how I am that's how they are. I felt safe to explore the traumas of my past and look at my beliefs and how they shaped my life and to do it without judgment. I went back for more healing a few different times after that for a total of six months. The Exclusive Hawaii is truly a place of healing and has forever changed my life because of the vision, dedication and love that they live and give.
