I was at T.G from March to July of 2013....I didn't mind the work part of "work" program.....I was In the kitchen 5 or 6 days a week for 6-8 hours a shift.....didn't mind at all, AND besides, it was very nice to say that while I was the lead cook there, our food was BETTER than at KENT FALLS.....
They have you on a schedule with meetings, groups, and little but adequate free time too.The food is excellent. The staff is all recovering also but qualified I guess.I just think others who are sick should not be helping patients especially at the beginning stages of recovery.I found many EGO problems with staff, conflicts, etc. I do believe you need to treat the mental sickness along with the physical.I just think the diagnoses should be too quick.I think professionals treat with meds too quickly.
Brittney is very professional and at the same time very easy to talk to and compassionate. I felt very comfortable speaking to her about things that are not so easy to talk about. Keep up the good work Brittney
