When you’re putting money into your health, your future and your family’s wellbeing, you should make sure you’re making the best possible decision for your Youngstown alcohol and substance abuse rehab clinic. While the most prudent thing to do may still be to dial our hotline advisors so they can discuss your personal needs, reading how people are reviewing or rating some of the addiction recovery facilities in your area is another good way to begin.
Recovery.org is owned and operated by American Addiction Centers (AAC). AAC is a leading rehabilitation provider, offering all levels of care from detox to sober living, including 9 inpatient facilities nationwide.
Great program. The staff helped me so much. The techs are all in recovery and they are very personable. They were always there to talk to me and give me advice when I was struggling. When there were a lot of people in there, you had to wait a while for your meds but I feel like that happens at a lot of centers. It happened at another one I went to too.
PS Summer, Ta Cecil, and Ta Eldred all introduced themselves to me and were real helpful with me getting around to my classes. Cecil and El were really friendly to me, I didn't realize what an important role the staff members play but I quickly saw it by how much they helped me. The energy in the groups was good for me because I felt like I was invited in, I really looked forward to the groups because instead of laying around and doing drugs, I like the sense of closeness and connection they provided. They have lots of fun activities, I went to bingo and that was really fun. I didn't think that extra circular activities was something I would like but it was a great way to make friends and be involved in the offering they have here. I learned a lot about myself here. it took a great deal of effort. I didn't think it was going to be that difficult but I triumphed. I learned that I have more endurance in taking in new information and processing out what I learned. The people here were great caliber as far as the staff as well as the other clients.
Lots of meetings. Encourage people to get better.try hard to accommodate. Meds not delivered on time. Losses personal belongings. The food situation can be frustrating in detox. No t.v in bedrooms at php house. Lack of communication. The facility should communicate better about the patients needs and accommodate them better.
