I’ve been so mistreated in north haven it’s uncalled for. My sobriety to them means nothing and unfortunately not only have I endured physical and emotional abuse and stress from the counselors and supervisors that I’m mistreated and being punished for some female and male supervisor’s personal gain I need someone who is actually capable of helping me and taking on this responsibility to help me get the care I deserve.

They offer all these services. Methadone maintenance, mental health, primary medical care. BUT 1) you wait hours to see the primary care physician to find out your blood work was lost, when you do see him he doesn't address your medical concerns. 2) you wait 2 hours to see the psychiatrist but this pyschiatrist doesn't care to know why you're there because he's too busy just handing out scripts to the dozens of patients that walked in before you. Hence, you never get any psychiatric counseling or the chance to address your mental health concerns. 3) You sign up for vocational services just to be put on a very long waiting list because there's only one person handling that!! The program sounds great BUT it's lousy at helping addicts!!!!!!!! Do not use their outpatient program. It's horrible the doctors are horrible and uncaring. No wonder we still see so many addicts

The staff is very well trained. Also, everyone from the front desk staff to security goes out of their way to remember your name and other small yet important things. If the wonderful counsellors there could spend a bit more time with each client, that would be helpful. If you aren't able to pay for treatment or medication, they will sit down with you and come up with a plan. They really want to see you succeed and receive all the necessary things that are vital to your recovery.

Exercise Room, Two TV Rooms, you can have smartphone, group counseling, smoke breaks, nice staff friendly. Foods horrible, not enough one on one counseling, fire alarms are overly loud and at 3 am, urines 2 a day sometimes is unnecessary. Overall I did well, I get along with the guys and staff, obeyed rules and I have been sober since.
