Meet the Staff
- Stephanie Greene LCSWClinical DirectorFor fifteen years, I’ve held respectful space for countless people to explore their unique path to healing. It’s been an honor and a privilege to accompany each one on their journey. I’ve worked with ages 4 to 84 across a vast spectrum of diversity including at risk youth in the urban core of Kansas City, MO to indigenous people from the Pueblos of New Mexico. In all my work, I’ve found that hands-on, experiential learning and emotional connections with co-learners are the most effective ways for clients to make strides toward emotional and mental stability. I value group work and the necessity of community in healing.
- Lisa Short M.A.ClinicianUpon graduation from The Psychology School of Professional Psychology, MA Forensic Psychology, I went right into the prison system, where I really learned about trauma. I have worked in a State Forensic Hospital where I had the privilege to work with individuals with severe mental illness. I find a special spot in my heart for those who are suffering from Substance Use Disorder and Mental Health, this is because there has been a trauma, and this brought me into Community Mental Health for approx 10yrs.
