Fort Lauderdale Addiction Treatment Center is a JCAHO accredited and affordable, alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation facility conveniently located near beautiful Las Olas Boulevard. We offer state of the art methods of addiction treatment including psychiatry and addiction medicine, individual and group therapy, massage therapy, recreational activities, and lifetime alumni and aftercare services. Fort Lauderdale Addiction Treatment Center understands that “one size does not fit all.” Our Florida rehab program is specifically designed to utilize a variety of treatment approaches in order to best match addiction treatment tracks to the individuals recovery needs. Upon intake, a complete assessment is conducted by one of our Licensed professionals to identify which pathway is best suited to identify the underlying issues that have been driving the addiction and addictive behaviors. Guests go to a state of the art gym twice weekly. All clients are given in depth training in cognitive behavioral practices and attend either traditional 12 step support recovery groups.     These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.

  • Dr. Roberto Sanchez
    Dr. Roberto SanchezPsyD, LMHC,CAP, Executive Director/Clinical Director
    With more than 20 years of experience in the addiction field, both as a clinician and as an administrator, Dr. Sanchez enhances treatment at Ft Lauderdale Addiction Treatment Center by bringing well rounded and vast clinical experience into a setting with real-life recovery and clinical aspects of substance abuse/mental health disorders. Prior to his working here as an administrator Dr. Sanchez was the Director of the Intensive Outpatient Services at G and G Holistic Treatment Center, was a consultant of Adult Program IOP at Family Recovery Services, and was in private practice as a licensed doctoral level psychotherapist in Miami Beach. He has trained and worked in addiction treatment centers, psychiatric hospitals, residential settings, community mental health centers, outpatient settings, and private practice in South Texas, South Florida and California. Dr. Sanchez has extensive training and experience with substance abuse, addictions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression and anger management. Dr. Sanchez brings sensitivity, knowledge, experience and passion to his work. He has helped thousands achieve meaningful change in their lives.
  • Nicole Ouzounian
    Nicole Ouzounian MA, LCADC Lead Therapist / Asst. Clinical Director
    Nicole Ouzounian received a Master’s degree in counseling at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ and is a Ph.D. candidate in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at NOVA Southeastern University. She is a Certified Addiction Professional and Licensed/Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the field providing treatment for adults, adolescents and families in recovery. Her experience encompasses work in hospital-based partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs while providing addictions counseling and family counseling in her private practice in Summit, New Jersey. While working for the Saint Barnabas Healthcare System in New Jersey, she was recruited to Prevention Specialist and Operational Director for the Institute for Prevention. In that role she managed and facilitated a state-recognized educational program teaching anger management, conflict resolution, nutrition and drug and alcohol prevention throughout the tri-state area. Working in the field of addictions enlightened her to the true strength of the human spirit. She has witnessed and helped individuals transform from despair to discovering the strength and wisdom within themselves.
