MindfulnessOur clinician-founded and operated addiction treatment center in North Carolina offers a mindfulness-based, comprehensive, and integrative approach to recovery.
HolisticWe created a recovery center from what has worked in our own lives and what we would personally want out of a treatment center. We practice holistic healing and mindfulness in our daily lives and have for many years, so it naturally informs our approach. We offer wilderness therapy, meditation, yoga and acupuncture.
Meet the Staff
- Adam McIsaac, CADC, ICADCFounder and Executive DirectorFor over 16 years Adam has been helping individuals and their families navigate addiction and the path of recovery. He assists and educates clients in a variety of evidence based approaches in order to support their personal recovery journey. As a person in recovery since 2005, he knows firsthand what you are experiencing. As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, his approach to recovery is Integrative, Holistic, Trauma Informed, Mindfulness Based and Evidence Based. Adam has been a daily mindfulness practitioner for over 10 years. He has been a part of the Asheville community since 2008. He provides substance use counseling and educates clients in a variety of evidence based approaches in order to support their personal recovery journey.
- Lisa Ball-McIsaac, CADC, ICADCFounder and Operations DirectorLisa has over 17 years experience working in the field of behavioral and mental health and over 20 years of active continuous personal recovery. Lisa has enjoyed living in the Asheville community since 2008. She received her degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina and is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She is currently in graduate school receiving her Master’s degree to become a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She is also a Certified Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master and a Somatic Experiencing™ Practitioner trainee. She has been a mindfulness practitioner for over 10 years. Lisa is a highly sensitive person and natural born leader and loves nothing more than helping others reach their fullest potential. Her leadership philosophy and approach is based on Brené Brown’s “Dare to Lead” curriculum.
