North Cottage

I am very greatfull for NORTH COTTAGE PROGRAM. THE COUNSELOR HAVE ALOT OF KNOWLEDGE I AM SO PLEASE WITH THE HELP THEY HAVE PROVIDED TO ME..ALL THE STAFF FROM COVERAGE TO CLIENT SEEVICE , THEY ARE VERY HELPFULL RESPECTFUL AND MOST OF ALL THEY CARE.

The most crooked cash hungry owners ever. They get you to apply for food stamps and welfare yet there is only 2 small meals a day with no snacks or even cool aid. I have no clue where the $150 in food stamps go. I feel for clients who are sent there who are on probation.. No AC in cramped hot rooms in the summer.. Everything is about money to them, they took half my income and counted to the minutes on the day I went in as to how much money to take from me..Yes they charged me 6 hours and 38 minutes on the first day..

“The Cottage” offers a highly effective log term treatment program for substance use disorder. The counselors are highly trained and caring individuals. They offer intensive care and halfway house programs. Intensive individual and group counseling is provided. The living accommodations are clean and well maintained. The kitchen staff makes great effort to offer nutritious meals and can accommodate special requirements when needed. All lifestyles are accepted. If you are accepted into North Cottage and come with humility and a strong willingness to get clean and sober you have a really good shot at success. The resources are there and it’s all up to you.

The person who left a review which equates this program to "a boot camp" has no idea what a boot camp actually is, because this is the most laid back program in the state. I also have to refute the review that stated there are no air conditioners in the rooms and poor heating in the Winter. That is untrue on both counts. This program does have great food, especially relative to other programs in the state, has a huge, well maintained campus with tons of resources offered and plenty of staff to facilitate cleints' needs. There are also many other treatment options besides the AA model. Best program in the state by far.

This place sucks it is like a boot camp o would never recomend anyone to go there
