Creative Arts TherapyWriting, making art or engaging in theater can be deeply therapeutic for people working to recover from addiction. Many facilities offer one or several forms of creative arts therapy as a way to help patients learn to express their feelings in productive ways.
Equine TherapyA form of animal therapy, equine therapy involves visiting, working with and sometimes riding horses as a way to create a metaphoric relationship that leads to life-altering insights.

Meet the Staff
- Samantha Steiger, LCSWClinical SupervisorAn enthusiastic and compassionate leader of RECO’s clinical team, Samantha brings with her many years of experience in the fields of behavioral health, addiction, and eating disorders. Born and raised in New Jersey, she recently moved to Florida and has been a dynamic addition to our team of clinicians. As our clinical supervisor, she runs client group sessions, conducts frequent clinical meetings, and ensures that all clinical staff are communicating effectively about our clients’ care. Trained in both CBT and DBT techniques, she applies her clinical expertise as she tailors the RECO experience to fit the needs of each individual client.
- Christopher Pasquale, MA, MACP, ICADCDirector of OperationsA member of team RECO since our founding, Chris wears multiple different hats within his role as Director of Operations. An architect of the program, he aids in designing personalized treatment plans, and also facilitates weekly group sessions, including Motivational Mondays and A Hero’s Journey. Dynamically invested in each client’s progress, he is consistently responsible for ensuring smooth transitions, addressing client concerns, and maintaining communication with all members of the team.
