Specialization

  • Detox

Your recovery journey will begin during a detoxification consultation in a private treatment room at Revival Recovery Center or virtually. One of our staff members will gather information about your health history and background, and we may conduct a drug test in addition to other possible health screenings. From there, a customized medical detox plan will be created to address your specific issue. The detoxification process is medically supervised by our team members who are available 24 hours a day. It can take up to a few weeks before all of the chemicals are expelled from your system. We provide medication to alleviate cravings, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbance, body aches and upset stomach. Medical treatment for substance use disorder is best combined with individual and or group therapy along with community support that our team can help refer you to. Our goal is to help you achieve long-term sobriety by focusing on your holistic health and spiritual well-being.
  • Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)

nyone who is struggling with an alcohol or drug addiction is a candidate for medication-assisted treatment. The main goal of this form of treatment is to curb the body's powerful physical responses to addiction by mitigating the cravings and negative side effects of detoxing from drugs and alcohol. This makes medication-assisted treatment especially helpful for people with long-lasting addictions or addictions to stronger drugs. These medications can also limit or inhibit the effects of drugs and alcohol to prevent users from experiencing the "high" and, in some cases, even produce negative effects when certain substances are consumed. Medication-assisted treatment isn't a fix-all solution but rather a tool that can help boost the effectiveness and safety of the overall treatment program.
