Seven Hills Hospital provides intensive short-term treatment to adults and adolescents suffering from addiction and co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders. Services provided include 12-Step resources, individual, group, and family therapy, didactic educational groups, medication stabilization, nutritional care, recreation therapy, and more. Educational groups feature topics such as anger management, conflict resolution, substance abuse education, and stress management.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.
Client & Family Support GroupsGroup therapy is a vital component of addiction recovery treatment, considered as important and effective (sometimes even more so) than individual therapy. Benefits include reducing isolation and loneliness and providing the opportunity to learn from others in recovery. In the addiction setting, group therapy is run by trained professionals who guide participants toward a shared goal of recovery.
Meet the Staff
- Keith Breiland, M.D.Medical DirectorKeith Breiland, M.D., is Board Certified in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He earned both his Doctorate in Medicine and Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Breiland completed his Child and Adolescent Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, and completed his Adult Psychiatric training at the University of Southern California Medical Center. He is Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada. Dr. Breiland has more than 20 years of experience in Mental Health.
- Warren Wheatley, LCSWClinical DirectorWarren Wheatley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years’ experience in the field, including several years working with Harmony Healthcare. Warren is also a Certified Gambling Addiction treatment specialist, and is a Certified Social Work Supervisor with the State of Nevada.
