About The Recovery Team Cape Cod

At The Recovery Team Cape Cod, treatment is built around what actually works—therapies like CBT, DBT and trauma-focused care, plus medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when needed. Instead of a one-size-fits-all approach, you get a plan that fits your needs, helping you build real coping skills and a strong foundation for lasting healing from addiction and mental health struggles. Treatment here is also about finding balance and feeling good again. Feel the calm of yoga and meditation and get hands-on experiences like equine and adventure therapy. Coupled with family support, aftercare planning and a welcoming community, you’ll have everything you need to get better and stay better.

Areas of Specialization
  • Substance Use Disorder Treatment
A full range of addiction treatment options are available. Whether facing challenges with alcohol, opioids, stimulants or other drugs, evidence-based therapies and medical care can help you feel better long-term.
  • Primary Mental Health Treatment
Both inpatient and outpatient mental health programs offer structured support for conditions like depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and PTSD. Patients balance intensive therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) with holistic options including yoga, meditation, equestrian therapy, art therapy and music therapy. The experience is as effective, yet enjoyable as possible.
  • Dual Diagnosis / Co-Occurring Disorders
Many people facing addiction also struggle with mental health issues like anxiety, depression or trauma. When both conditions occur together, treating one without addressing the other can lead to relapse or continued challenges. A dual diagnosis program provides comprehensive, integrated care that focuses on both mental health and substance use disorders to achieve lasting recovery and emotional balance.

I stayed here for a month and a half and I had an exceptional experience during my stay. I had no interest in changing my lifestyle until I met their staff members. Great activities, food, meetings and I’d highly recommend it. Olivia is the best!!!!!

Unlike other centers, they recognize that addiction impacts the whole family. They provided a safe space for us to ask questions, express concerns, and receive the education and emotional support we needed. Alison and Scott are amazing!!
