TLC provides very basic accommodations to remain homeless. 8 people to a room, donated food which has reached its Use By date, hot water and air conditioned room. For this a guest is expected to pay $125 per week or be forced into work program where the facility collects payment from the client. This arrangement violates prevailing landlord/tenant laws by declaring rent a \"Service Fee\" and offers ZERO protection to the client with regard to notice and eviction, anyone can be evicted any time, no notice, for any reason. The treatment is hostile and confrontational as it is generally run by ex-convicts with no training in social work. There is a hierarchical class system whereas guests are forced to \"level up\" and then make a \"voluntary\" contribution to the \"house fund\" in addition to their \"service fee\".

I have been to many treatment centers and have never had the individualized care that I received at TLC Treatment Center. I was able to have individual therapy at least once a week and whenever I had an issue they always had the time for me. I also was able to take advantage of their sober housing and once I got to a Phase 3 I was able to enroll in school or find employment and continue my care at the same time, this helped me transition and today I am proud to say I am still sober!

Great addiction counselling. Reasonable living arrangements. No mental health services. Could use more supervision. A good place for people wanting to clean up and get off the streets, as long as you have the desire.
