I was losing my wife to her addiction but because of Narconon I got her back. This has been incredibly life changing for us and especially for my wife. Prior to Narconon, I felt I was losing her. Over time, she was becoming a different person, losing her basic self due to her addiction. It was creating an increasingly worsening condition as her addiction had become a substitute for confronting life. Something had to be done about it but there seemed like there wasn\'t any workable solution. But then Jason from Narconon Colorado reached out to me and really listened to my story and my situation. He really cared and understood the nature of the underlying issues. He was with me every step of the way, through tough confusions and anxieties about what to do and how to handle it. He helped me confront the situation and successfully pull off what I initially thought was practically impossible - getting my wife to Narconon and beginning to get real, actual, life-changing help. She then really started confronting and handling the root causes to her addiction. It turns out that addiction is not the root of the problem, it\'s only a \"solution\" to a deeper-rooted problem that isn\'t being confronted, but it creates a trap that one cannot get out of without major help. As she really dug into these basic issues throughout the Narconon program, I could really see my wife transforming back into her basic self, shedding off layers that were not her, and I began to get my wife back! On this journey, Chris from Narconon did an incredible job being there for her and keeping me up to date on her progress. He is truly an amazing, altruistic staff member who has the care and purpose to be there for those going through what can be an unconfrontable condition. And the supervisors and other staff really demonstrated that their purpose is to salvage people who\'ve been ruined by drugs and alcohol. Kay particularly had shown that she really took personal ownership on ensuring my wife got through what she needed to so that she could come out of the darkness shining as her bright self. I am overwhelmed with joy from the result of getting my wife through this program. I had once doubted if I\'d ever get her back, and I\'d often wonder and dream if it could ever happen. I\'m now living that dream and I have to keep pinching myself. She has become the best version of herself, the best I\'ve ever seen, even before her addiction began, and we\'ve been together for 16 years! It brings tears to my eyes to think about how the staff are there making this program possible, and who are the courageous heroes that were there for me and my wife, who helped salvage an artist, a wife, a best friend, a teammate and a beautiful being. I will forever be grateful. Thank you so much for saving her and allowing us to begin a new chapter in our lives.
I was a client at Rites of Passage several years ago. They were amazing and helped me with my eating disorder and addiction problems when no one else could. I learned how to work through a lot of trauma and handle life much better. The program was vastly different than a 12 step program I had attended previously. Rites worked for me, the other place failed miserably. In addition to learning to understand myself, it was fun but also interesting to work with horses to see my progress and help me learn a different way. I also liked having therapy dogs in all of the sessions. Rites helped me realize what I wanted to do in life and helped with the processes of applying to schools so that I could finish my college degree. Thanks to this program, I am happy and I am living a life I never knew was possible.
I have been working at The Raleigh House for a few months. What I have been impressed with during that time is the dedication to quality care, creativity, and compassion for others that the Raleigh House program demonstrates day in and day out. The environment is fast paced and energetic, in a way that creates passion and supports professional growth. I enjoy working with people who hold themselves to a high standard the strive to provide individually tailored care that addresses not only the presenting addiction, but also its underlying root causes. Raleigh House has been a great fit for me! - S.
