They are a very positive facility and that was an awesome party. I felt that them keeping men and woman separate was a downfall.
It's been the third treatment center I've been to and I now understand my disease clearly. They educate the patient. The counselors are very supportive. However, the food is bad.
I truly enjoyed my time here. The entirety of the staff was phenomenal, as was the facility and the program in general. The staff. The nurses and the techs were fantastic. The counselors were great as well. Three days a week we had an hour gym time which I found gave the most immediate and effective relief of PAWS (post acute withdrawal symptoms). Working out is not required but I recommend taking advantage of the time given. Every week we also would go out into a public place as a group (museums, bowling alleys, ect.) and truly had some great times with my peers. The meals are good and there are a lot of snacks/fruit available. Although a strong facility overall there was a couple short-comings I noticed: While the counseling was of good quality, it felt chaotically scheduled at times. Some people do leave before completing the program so I understand how keeping a concrete schedule might be difficult, to a point. These concerns were voiced to the staff by the patients and at the time of my discharge they seemed to be addressing these issues with the new patients. It seemed to have backfired and negatively impacted group morale.
