If you’re investing in a family member’s health, happiness and wellbeing, you’ll want to make sure you’re making the best decision for your Pottersdale substance abuse rehabilitation center.
Strengths: upscale, safe Weaknesses: offerings promised verbally and listed on the website are not the case. once you are there you are stuck and have to deal with the discrepancies. chronic pain treatment/counseling/meds were promoted/promised but nothing was available when I was there. I was asked to go to AA meetings. NO, I wasn't an alcoholic. I became dependent on my prescription meds for chronic pain. i don't regret going. my focus was being free from narcotic dependency. the other issues were disappointing but my goal was achieved.
Awesome facility that truly cares about the client and their future. Aftercare and alumni program are top notch. Staff takes the time and effort to focus on the individual.
I was a client at avenues for 6 months. I found it to be professionally run by caring people. Right now I have 1 year clean with more to go.my counselor was crummy but all the others were good, don't worry he has since left.the living arrangements were fine and the food they provided was sufficient. You cooked for yourself. When the young guys cooked you got hot dogs and burgers .when the older ones cooked you ate salmon, pork shoulders, pork chops etc. It was hit or miss but never bad. Plus you could make what you wanted. The patient techs were good and helpful. One in particular pat would literally go to the ends of the earth to help you. Gotta love the guys genuiness and caring demeanor. The housing manager devin was really good also. Sadly I've been in quite a few rehabs and I would rate avenues an 8 out of 10. I would recommend it to family and friends. I learned alot there which helps me now.you can only get better coming here. Jamie lorber
