The staff are passionate about helping each person's individual needs, they encourage family involvement and meet the person where they are at. They are non-profit and not some fancy resort but offer quality care, support, education and encouragement. The environment is welcoming and a home like atmosphere that feels safe. I am grateful for all the people I know who have received treatment through Mooring House with positive life long impact. I would highly recommend!

The only treatment that worked for me. Excellent counselors and staff. Compassionate, yet no bull. Opportunity for multiple months treatment. Well balanced program. Food needs a lot of improvement.

Those in treatment were able to get jobs (and were checked for alcohol etc) when coming back on the premisis, family was encuorraged to come to sessions,it was a little cramped. I'm not sure if my father should have checked out when he did but I suppose they have to use their best judgement
