If you’re investing in a family member’shealth and future, you’ll need to make sure you’re making the best possible decision for your Douglas alcohol and drug addiction rehabilitation program. While the best thing to do may still be to dial our helpline advisors so they can discuss your individual needs, reading how others have reviewed or rated some of the addiction rehab centers in or around you is another great way to get started.
Group time was good, liked most of the people (leaders or teachers) I talked to during group. Very little communication. We had a few meetings per day otherwise we sat in our rooms and did nothing but dwell on our problems. Felt like the staff didn't really care. I feel this facility has the option to be more successful but they seem to just want to up the drugs on their patients and let them sleep/hang out alone in their rooms all day. I didn't feel I had anyone that I could open up to plus my communication with family was very limited. It was not really helpful in my recovery.
For clarification, it was intensive outpatient treatment
I worked for HSI twice and both times was treated with respect and understanding. I had surgery while working with HSI and the Director made sure had sufficient healing time and was genuinely concerned with my recovery from surgery. The staff was always kind and considerate.
