Certified counselors help guide clients in creating individual recovery plans to treat the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. I was a client of the S.T.A.I.R.S. intensive inpatient program at Harris House. I found the program of educational groups, exposure to 12 step meetings and talk therapy in an environment that promotes "Recovery With Responsibility" gave me the tools to get my life back.
