What Is the Addiction Treatment Admissions Process for Veterans?
Addiction Treatment & The Community Care Network
The Community Care Network (CCN) is a program within the VA that helps Veterans access care from non-VA providers when VA services aren’t available or easily accessible.1
The VA provides comprehensive services for Veterans struggling with substance misuse or substance use disorder (SUD).2 However, if the VA cannot provide services, the CCN connects Veterans with care, including SUD treatment. Through the CCN, Veterans can access SUD treatment as well as support for co-occurring mental health disorders from approved community providers.3
